Leave Marrakech for a manageable daytime excursion in Agafay’s rocky desert, with private return transport, a short camel ride and a Moroccan lunch. The setting is a stone landscape rather than Sahara sand dunes; the day is designed around a comfortable drive, a handler-led activity and time to eat and relax.

USD 100 per guest, with a USD 200 minimum booking: one guest pays USD 200; two pay USD 200; three pay USD 300; four pay USD 400. Adults and children use the same rate because transport, lunch and activity arrangements are reserved for every booked guest. Children’s age and ride suitability must be confirmed; there is no automatic infant-riding guarantee.

The standard private vehicle serves up to five passengers. For larger parties, an additional USD 200 vehicle supplement applies for the service day, alongside the per-person rate. The final total and short-notice supplement are shown before payment. Lunch menus vary seasonally; no pool pass, quad ride, alcohol or exclusive luxury camp is included.

Stop 1

Marrakech pickup and drive · 45–75 minutes

Meet your driver at a vehicle-accessible hotel or medina meeting point in central Marrakech. Travel toward Agafay through the changing outskirts and rocky countryside. Driving time depends on the exact camp and traffic; remote Palmeraie or out-of-city accommodation needs a separate agreed quote.

Stop 2

Arrival, welcome and ride briefing

Meet the local camel handler and discuss boarding, age suitability and any physical concerns before the ride. Closed shoes and sun protection are recommended. A child or guest who cannot safely mount should not ride; contact MLV beforehand to agree a suitable alternative rather than assuming one is included.

Stop 3

Guided camel circuit · approximately 30 minutes

Follow a short handler-led route over Agafay’s rocky terrain. The booked experience is in a stone desert, not the sand dunes of Merzouga. The handler chooses a safe route for weather and animal welfare; the exact departure order may change. There is no independent riding or quad activity included.

Stop 4

Moroccan lunch and pause · 60–90 minutes

Enjoy a Moroccan lunch with a starter, main course and seasonal dessert, plus drinking water. Menus vary by venue and season; advise dietary requirements in advance. Alcohol, specialty drinks, pool access and a private exclusive camp are not included. Relax before the return journey.

Stop 5

Return to central Marrakech · 45–75 minutes

Return to the original pickup area in the same private vehicle arrangement. A different return address must be agreed in advance. The driver is not a city guide, and the excursion does not include a Marrakech sightseeing stop.

Important: Agafay is a rocky, exposed desert landscape rather than a sand-dune destination. Wear closed shoes and comfortable trousers, and bring sun protection, drinking water and a light layer. Follow the camel handler’s instructions when mounting, riding and dismounting. Share children’s ages and any mobility or health concerns before booking so riding suitability can be checked. Tell MLV about allergies and dietary requirements when arranging lunch; a swimming-pool pass and extra activities are not included.
Private transport: Travel in a Mercedes Vito for up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases; confirm actual bag dimensions. Above 5 passengers, one larger-vehicle supplement of USD 200 per service day applies for up to 16, 20 or 30 passengers according to party size; the supplement is charged once per party. Exact larger vehicle and child seats must suit the party.
Minimum advance notice: 48 hours. A single short-notice supplement applies: 10% within 7 days or 20% within 72 hours; the final price appears before payment. Card and PayPal confirmation follow verified payment; bank transfer is pending until funds are verified. The published cancellation policy applies.

What journey is covered and how long should we allow?+

USD 200 covers up to 2 guests. Extra adults cost USD 100 each and extra children USD 100 each, up to 30 guests. Children must be included in the guest count. Optional add-ons and short-notice supplements are displayed before payment.

Are sand dunes, a swimming pool or quad biking included?+

No. Agafay is a rocky stone desert. The package includes the stated camel ride and lunch; it does not include Sahara dunes, pool access, quad biking or an overnight camp.

What is included in lunch and can you accommodate allergies?+

Lunch includes a starter, main course, seasonal dessert and drinking water. Menus vary by venue. Tell MLV about allergies and dietary requirements before booking so the venue can confirm suitability; an allergen-free kitchen cannot be guaranteed.

Can every child or guest ride a camel?+

No. Send children’s ages and discuss pregnancy, back or mobility concerns before booking. The handler must approve safe boarding and riding. If a guest cannot ride, an alternative or changed booking must be agreed with MLV in advance.

How do payment and short-notice prices work?+

Card and PayPal confirmation follow verified payment. Bank transfer remains pending until received funds are verified; cash is offered only when checkout permits it. Book at least 48 hours ahead. Within 7 days the supplement is 10%; within 72 hours it is 20%, with only one tier applied. The applicable cancellation policy is shown before payment.
