Continue toward the Ras el Maa area if the group is comfortable with the slopes, or choose a shorter central route with extra stops and breaks. Stop 1

Outa el Hammam meeting

Meet at the agreed point around Outa el Hammam and review your preferred walking pace and finish time. The guide introduces Chefchaouen's mountain setting and the relationship between its main square, Kasbah exterior and medina lanes. This local walk begins in Chefchaouen; transport from another city is not included.

Stop 2

Blue medina lanes

Walk through a selection of the blue-painted public streets, with time to photograph doorways and neighbourhood views. These are residential streets rather than a staged photo set: keep entrances clear and ask before photographing people. The guide chooses a practical route around crowds, steps and the party's walking comfort.

Stop 3

Craft streets and square

Continue through craft and market streets to learn about everyday goods and the town's trading history. Shopping is optional, and neither the visit nor a viewpoint depends on buying souvenirs. View the Kasbah from the public square; museum or garden admission inside the Kasbah is separate unless expressly included.

Stop 4

Ras el Maa or central alternative

Head towards Ras el Maa if the slope and walking conditions suit the party. Discuss the incline before setting off; guests who prefer a gentler route can remain within a central public-area alternative. This stop is a town-edge viewpoint and does not extend the tour into a mountain trek or the Spanish Mosque hike.

Stop 5

Finish in the medina

Return through the medina towards the agreed central finish, with time for final questions and orientation for exploring independently. The guide explains how to find your onward meeting point. Meals, paid attraction entry and transfers to Tangier, Fes or another city are separate from this three-to-four-hour walking experience.

Good to know

Does this include the journey from Tangier?+

No. This is a local walking experience for guests already in Chefchaouen.

Will we reach the Spanish Mosque viewpoint?+

The base route does not include that uphill extension. It can be requested separately if timing and walking conditions permit.

Can we avoid steep lanes?+

We can discuss a shorter central route, but the medina still has uneven paving and some steps.

Is Kasbah admission included?+

No. The walk covers its exterior surroundings; an interior visit requires a separately agreed admission and timing.

Are the blue door photo spots free?+

Public streets are part of the walk. Private properties or staged photo spaces can charge independently and are not included.

Where does the walk end?+

Normally at Outa el Hammam. A different central finish must be agreed with the guide.

Are children counted in the group limit?+

Yes. The base rate includes up to four guests in total. Guests 5–12 cost USD 25 per additional adult or USD 15 per additional child.

Private tour of Casablanca for up to 16 people

We had an an amazing tour with Hesham. Our cruise had changed our port dates around and Ayoub organized one of his colleagues to help us out!
Hesham communicated very well where we would meet and had our transportation ready to meet us! With a big party of 8 it was perfect. He was conscientious on our time and we never felt rushed. We asked for a traditional Moroccan meal for lunch and it he was able to get us in to a fantastic restaurant. He was knowledgeable and detailed with the history of Casablanca. I would recommend his tour to anyone!

Ayoub was an outstanding guide, customizing a full day tour of Casablanca with a focus on Jewish sites. He created a fabulous day for our group. Highest recommendation!

7 day Moroccan Tour

Overall, our 7 day Moroccan tour was outstanding to say the least . We were able to see the imperial cities except for Meknes, experience the food , the culture , the beautiful mosques , and taking a walk at their bustling medinas and souks. We also got to experience the exhilarating hot air balloon, and camel ride, had a wonderful dinner and watch belly dancers do their exotic dancing and get to take thousand of beautiful pictures! I would like to thank our tour guide Mr Ayoub for making all these possible. He worked so hard, making arrangements for our bags , carrying our heavy luggage’s coordinating with hotel staff , since we did our own hotel booking and never once complained. He gave us restaurant recommendations and they were beyond excellent too. He allowed my group, freedom to take as much pictures as they want to, shop as long as we want. Thank you Mr Ayoub ! It was an amazing experience and a vacation to remember for the rest of our lives . Please thank our wonderful driver Mr Khalid too.
