Discover Fes medina at your family’s pace on a private 2½–3-hour walk starting outside Bab Boujloud. Your guide introduces the city through colours, shapes and simple stories, then leads a compact loop past tiled fountains, carved doors and everyday craft displays.

Short stops and a rest break leave space for children’s questions, with the route shortened if needed. Finish near Bab Boujloud or another nearby exit agreed with your guide. Strong-smelling tannery terraces and hands-on workshops are excluded. Discuss stroller or wheelchair access in advance; the medina has uneven paving and steps.

The private base price covers up to 4 guests. Each additional adult costs USD 40 and each additional child USD 25; the maximum is 12. No compulsory shopping or minimum purchase is required. Bab Boujloud family orientation

Meet your private guide outside Bab Boujloud, the blue-tiled gate to Fes medina. After a short introduction tailored to your children’s ages, look for geometric patterns and hear simple stories about the city. Your guide explains how to stay together and move safely through busy lanes.

Stop 2

Medina discovery loop

Follow a compact loop through the main medina lanes, with pauses to discover tiled fountains, carved doors and everyday market life. Children can spot colours, shapes and craft materials along the way. The route covers a manageable part of the medina at your family’s pace; expect uneven paving and some steps.

Stop 3

Craft observation and pause

Watch craftspeople or browse accessible shopfronts along the walking route, with a pause for a drink or rest when needed. Purchases are optional. A hands-on workshop is not included, and the standard route skips strong-smelling tannery terraces. Drinks and snacks are extra unless you select the snack add-on.

Stop 4

Easy return and onward advice

Finish near Bab Boujloud or another nearby medina exit agreed with your guide. The loop can be shortened if children become tired, and your guide can explain the way to your riad or a taxi point. Please discuss stroller or wheelchair access before booking so the route can be assessed.

Bring drinking water and any familiar snacks, and tell the guide when a rest is needed. Food and paid admissions are extra unless listed as included.

Yes, discuss the stroller size and mobility needs in advance. Uneven lanes and steps can limit access. The guide can reduce walking within the booked duration; carrying a stroller or providing an accessible vehicle is not included.

Are snacks, animal encounters or craft workshops included?+

No animal encounter, performer payment or hands-on workshop is included. The optional snack break adds a small pastry or fruit plus one soft drink per guest, subject to dietary suitability. Shopping is entirely optional.

How do payment and short-notice prices work?+

Card and PayPal confirmation follow verified payment. Bank transfer remains pending until received funds are verified; cash is offered only when checkout permits it. Book at least 48 hours ahead. Within 7 days the supplement is 10%; within 72 hours it is 20%, with only one tier applied. The applicable cancellation policy is shown before payment.
