The experience
Leave Marrakech for the High Atlas and spend the central part of the day around Imlil. A private vehicle provides the return road journey, with comfort stops when practical. In the valley, a local guide leads a village and landscape walk matched to the group's ability; this is not a Toubkal ascent.
Lunch gives the day an unhurried pause before the drive back to Marrakech. The meal location and menu are confirmed with the final arrangement. Mountain weather, trail conditions and daylight determine the safe walking route, and a shorter village programme is possible by advance agreement. No mule ride, private-home invitation or summit access is included.

Leave from the agreed Marrakech city pickup and travel into the High Atlas towards Imlil. The road journey forms part of the eight-to-nine-hour day, with suitable breaks according to traffic and the party's needs. Bring walking shoes, sun protection and a layer for conditions that can differ markedly from the city.
Meet the local mountain guide and review weather, terrain and everyone's walking experience before choosing the agreed village-and-valley route. Describe any mobility or health limitations honestly so the guide can discuss a suitable pace. This is a day walk around Imlil, without a Toubkal summit attempt or an implied high-altitude expedition.
Follow the selected paths through village and valley scenery, stopping for landscape explanations and photographs. Expect uneven ground and possible inclines rather than a uniformly level promenade. The guide may adjust the route for conditions; mule rides, private-home visits and extensions beyond the agreed walk require a separate arrangement.
Stop for the set lunch included in the confirmed programme. Discuss dietary needs before the day so the host can accept appropriate changes; a shared preparation area is not advertised as allergen-free. Use the break to rest and review the remaining walk before returning towards the road meeting point.
Regroup with the driver and return to the agreed Marrakech city finish. The guide keeps the walking section within the overall day rather than extending it at the expense of the road return. Traffic and weather affect arrival time, so avoid placing a tight flight or evening connection immediately after the tour.

Where private transport is included, MLV provides its Mercedes Vito configuration for up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases; parties above 5 use the USD 200/day larger-vehicle option. Groups above 30 guests require a separate arrangement; eligible smaller parties can book online.
The standard Mercedes Vito covers up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases. A larger vehicle for up to 16, 20 or 30 passengers adds USD 200 per service day once for the party, in addition to the listed extra-person charges. This journey has 1 service day; the larger-vehicle supplement is USD 200 total. The optional luxury upgrade for up to 5 guests costs USD 100 total (USD 100/day). Model and larger-vehicle luggage allocation are arranged by MLV.

We had an an amazing tour with Hesham. Our cruise had changed our port dates around and Ayoub organized one of his colleagues to help us out!
Hesham communicated very well where we would meet and had our transportation ready to meet us! With a big party of 8 it was perfect. He was conscientious on our time and we never felt rushed. We asked for a traditional Moroccan meal for lunch and it he was able to get us in to a fantastic restaurant. He was knowledgeable and detailed with the history of Casablanca. I would recommend his tour to anyone!
Ayoub was an outstanding guide, customizing a full day tour of Casablanca with a focus on Jewish sites. He created a fabulous day for our group. Highest recommendation!
Overall, our 7 day Moroccan tour was outstanding to say the least . We were able to see the imperial cities except for Meknes, experience the food , the culture , the beautiful mosques , and taking a walk at their bustling medinas and souks. We also got to experience the exhilarating hot air balloon, and camel ride, had a wonderful dinner and watch belly dancers do their exotic dancing and get to take thousand of beautiful pictures! I would like to thank our tour guide Mr Ayoub for making all these possible. He worked so hard, making arrangements for our bags , carrying our heavy luggage’s coordinating with hotel staff , since we did our own hotel booking and never once complained. He gave us restaurant recommendations and they were beyond excellent too. He allowed my group, freedom to take as much pictures as they want to, shop as long as we want. Thank you Mr Ayoub ! It was an amazing experience and a vacation to remember for the rest of our lives . Please thank our wonderful driver Mr Khalid too.
