Follow the road from Marrakech into the Ourika Valley, pausing for views before reaching the Setti Fatma area. A local guide discusses the walking conditions with you: the uphill route toward waterfall viewpoints has uneven, sometimes slippery sections and is not an easy walk for everyone.

Guests who prefer a gentler day can keep to an agreed village and riverside programme instead. A set lunch provides time beside the valley before the private drive back. The restaurant and menu are confirmed in advance. No family-home visit, waterfall swimming or fixed number of waterfalls is promised; the route depends on conditions and your walking choice.

How your experience unfolds

Stop 1

Marrakech pickup

Depart from the agreed Marrakech pickup for the Ourika Valley, allowing time for the road journey and suitable comfort stops. The route moves from city outskirts into a greener mountain valley. Bring shoes with a reliable grip; the waterfall paths are uneven and can be slippery, even when the weather in Marrakech is dry.

Stop 2

Valley viewpoints

Pause at suitable public valley viewpoints as the road route allows. The guide explains the landscape and village setting without promising entry into a private home or a staged cultural visit. Photo stops depend on safe stopping space, traffic and weather rather than a fixed sequence of roadside businesses.

Stop 3

Setti Fatma and route choice

At Setti Fatma, meet the local guide and assess the walking option before leaving the village. The waterfall route can involve uphill sections, rocks and awkward footing. Tell the guide if this is unsuitable; a gentler public riverside or village alternative is discussed instead of treating the ascent as compulsory.

Stop 4

Guided walk and lunch

Follow the agreed walk, then enjoy the set lunch included in the confirmed programme. The number of waterfalls reached depends on the chosen route and conditions, not a guarantee of reaching every cascade. Swimming, mule services and extra food or drinks are separate; dietary needs must be accepted before the day.

Stop 5

Return drive

Return to the vehicle at the agreed regrouping point for the drive back to Marrakech. Allow for road traffic within the seven-to-eight-hour overall programme. The driver returns you to the confirmed city address or permitted access point; a different destination or an intercity extension needs separate agreement.

Parties of 6–16, 17–20 or 21–30 passengers receive the appropriate larger vehicle at an additional USD 200 per service day, charged once per party, plus the listed extra-person prices. This journey has 1 service day. An optional luxury vehicle upgrade for 1–5 guests costs USD 100 per day; exact model is arranged by MLV. Larger-vehicle luggage allocation is agreed with MLV.

Guest pricing: the base private-booking rate includes 4 guests. Additional adults cost $65.00 each and additional children cost $65.00 each for the complete experience. Maximum party: 30 guests. The checkout total includes any applicable vehicle supplement and short-notice surcharge before payment.

Is the waterfall walk easy?+

Where private transport is included, MLV provides its Mercedes Vito configuration for up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases; parties above 5 use the USD 200/day larger-vehicle option. Groups above 30 guests require a separate arrangement; eligible smaller parties can book online.

What do larger vehicles and luxury upgrades cost?+

The standard Mercedes Vito covers up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases. A larger vehicle for up to 16, 20 or 30 passengers adds USD 200 per service day once for the party, in addition to the listed extra-person charges. This journey has 1 service day; the larger-vehicle supplement is USD 200 total. The optional luxury upgrade for up to 5 guests costs USD 100 total (USD 100/day). Model and larger-vehicle luggage allocation are arranged by MLV.

Private tour of Casablanca for up to 16 people

We had an an amazing tour with Hesham. Our cruise had changed our port dates around and Ayoub organized one of his colleagues to help us out!
Hesham communicated very well where we would meet and had our transportation ready to meet us! With a big party of 8 it was perfect. He was conscientious on our time and we never felt rushed. We asked for a traditional Moroccan meal for lunch and it he was able to get us in to a fantastic restaurant. He was knowledgeable and detailed with the history of Casablanca. I would recommend his tour to anyone!

Ayoub was an outstanding guide, customizing a full day tour of Casablanca with a focus on Jewish sites. He created a fabulous day for our group. Highest recommendation!

7 day Moroccan Tour

Overall, our 7 day Moroccan tour was outstanding to say the least . We were able to see the imperial cities except for Meknes, experience the food , the culture , the beautiful mosques , and taking a walk at their bustling medinas and souks. We also got to experience the exhilarating hot air balloon, and camel ride, had a wonderful dinner and watch belly dancers do their exotic dancing and get to take thousand of beautiful pictures! I would like to thank our tour guide Mr Ayoub for making all these possible. He worked so hard, making arrangements for our bags , carrying our heavy luggage’s coordinating with hotel staff , since we did our own hotel booking and never once complained. He gave us restaurant recommendations and they were beyond excellent too. He allowed my group, freedom to take as much pictures as they want to, shop as long as we want. Thank you Mr Ayoub ! It was an amazing experience and a vacation to remember for the rest of our lives . Please thank our wonderful driver Mr Khalid too.
