Begin with your culinary host and a focused market introduction, learning how the ingredients connect to the meal you will cook. At the confirmed kitchen, prepare the agreed menu with private instruction for your party, then sit down to eat what you have made.

The venue and dishes are specified before confirmation. This is not a celebrity-chef experience or a guaranteed private-home invitation. Dietary needs require approval before ingredients are bought; an allergy-free environment cannot be assumed. The meal, tea and recipe notes are included. Hotel transfers and alcohol are separate.

Meet your host

Meet the culinary host at the confirmed Marrakech location and review the day's menu, dietary requests and practical kitchen arrangements. The host accepts substitutions before ingredients are chosen. The experience is a private cooking programme for the booked party; a particular private home or celebrity chef is not implied.

Ingredient introduction

Explore the market or ingredient introduction included in the confirmed programme, discussing seasonal produce, spices and the dishes you will prepare. Personal grocery purchases are optional and paid separately. The host may adjust the sequence around market opening and the ingredients available for the agreed menu.

Stop 3

Kitchen preparation

Begin the hands-on workshop in the named kitchen, with an explanation of hygiene, preparation and each guest's tasks. The host demonstrates the techniques and helps you participate at a comfortable level. Tell the host about difficulty standing or handling utensils; the kitchen is not advertised as free of allergens.

Stop 4

Cooking and questions

Work through the selected dishes, taking time to ask about seasoning, cooking sequence and ways to reproduce the method at home. The exact menu follows the accepted programme rather than a guarantee of every traditional dish. Alcohol, extra ingredients for personal use and unlisted courses are separate.

Stop 5

Meal and recipe notes

Share the prepared meal with the tea and recipe notes listed in the programme, then finish at the agreed venue. The four-hour experience includes introduction, preparation and eating. Hotel transfers are not automatically included; confirm any transport add-on and the finish point before planning the rest of your day.

Meeting point: Named central Marrakech culinary venue or nearby market landmark
Pickup: Meet at the confirmed venue/landmark and finish at the kitchen. A separately confirmed transfer can collect and return you to a central hotel.
Important: Kitchen access, steps, menu, shared premises and dietary handling must be checked with the host. Photography of people requires permission.

Instant confirmation follows verified card payment. Minimum advance notice: 48 hours. Short-notice pricing adds 10% when booking within 7 days, or 20% within 72 hours; only the closest tier applies to the experience and selected extras. The final total is shown before payment. The published MLV cancellation and refund policy applies.

Private transport, where included: Mercedes Vito configured for up to 5 passengers and up to 8 large suitcases, subject to the agreed luggage allowance. Larger parties require a separately agreed vehicle and quote.

Guest pricing: the base private-booking rate includes 2 guests. Additional adults cost $155.00 each and additional children cost $155.00 each for the complete experience. Maximum party: 5 guests. The checkout total includes any applicable vehicle supplement and short-notice surcharge before payment.

The intended class instruction is for your two-person booking; exclusivity of the entire property is not assumed.

Which dishes will we cook?+

The host's confirmed menu is supplied before service; a particular dish should not be assumed from photographs.

Is the food we cook our lunch?+

Yes. The included meal is the agreed food prepared during the class.

Can allergies be accommodated?+

Only after the host approves the requirements. Cross-contact controls and kitchen limitations must be discussed.

Do we visit a private family home?+

No private-home access is promised. The named cooking venue is specified in your confirmation.

Do we receive recipes?+

Recipe notes for the agreed menu are included so you can revisit the techniques at home.

How many guests can book and what do extra guests cost?+

This offer accepts up to 5 guests. The base price includes 2 guests; each additional adult or child costs USD 155. Where private transport is included, MLV provides its Mercedes Vito configuration for up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases. Larger groups need a separate quote.

Pickup and return: Meet at the confirmed venue/landmark and finish at the kitchen. A separately confirmed transfer can collect and return you to a central hotel.
Pickup outside the stated area: Only the locations expressly included in this experience are covered. Request a written price before booking a distant hotel, airport, port or different return point. No unlisted transfer supplement is charged automatically.
Languages: English. Request another language before booking; it is subject to guide availability and a separately agreed price where applicable.
Guest allowance: Base price covers up to 2 guests. Maximum 5 guests per booking. Enter adults and children accurately; the booking form calculates any stated supplements.
Access and mobility: Tell MLV about wheelchair use, steps, walking limitations or assistance needs before booking. A private tour does not guarantee step-free access or an adapted vehicle. The agreed route and equipment must suit your needs.
Children and luggage: Give children’s ages and any child-seat, stroller or extra-luggage requirements before booking. Seats and vehicle capacity must be explicitly confirmed; there is no automatic guarantee.
Meeting time: Operator appointment — exact time confirmed. Your final written arrangements confirm the exact time.
Weather and disruption: Weather, official closures and transport disruption may change the route or activity. Contact MLV if your service cannot operate. Any alternative, rescheduling or refund follows the stated booking terms and cancellation policy.

Private tour of Casablanca for up to 16 people

We had an an amazing tour with Hesham. Our cruise had changed our port dates around and Ayoub organized one of his colleagues to help us out!
Hesham communicated very well where we would meet and had our transportation ready to meet us! With a big party of 8 it was perfect. He was conscientious on our time and we never felt rushed. We asked for a traditional Moroccan meal for lunch and it he was able to get us in to a fantastic restaurant. He was knowledgeable and detailed with the history of Casablanca. I would recommend his tour to anyone!

Casablanca Jewish Heritage And Highlights

Ayoub was an outstanding guide, customizing a full day tour of Casablanca with a focus on Jewish sites. He created a fabulous day for our group. Highest recommendation!

7 day Moroccan Tour

Overall, our 7 day Moroccan tour was outstanding to say the least . We were able to see the imperial cities except for Meknes, experience the food , the culture , the beautiful mosques , and taking a walk at their bustling medinas and souks. We also got to experience the exhilarating hot air balloon, and camel ride, had a wonderful dinner and watch belly dancers do their exotic dancing and get to take thousand of beautiful pictures! I would like to thank our tour guide Mr Ayoub for making all these possible. He worked so hard, making arrangements for our bags , carrying our heavy luggage’s coordinating with hotel staff , since we did our own hotel booking and never once complained. He gave us restaurant recommendations and they were beyond excellent too. He allowed my group, freedom to take as much pictures as they want to, shop as long as we want. Thank you Mr Ayoub ! It was an amazing experience and a vacation to remember for the rest of our lives . Please thank our wonderful driver Mr Khalid too.
