The experience

A shared flight, thoughtfully arranged

Leave Marrakech before dawn for a shared hot-air-balloon flight above the countryside north of the city. After welcome tea or coffee and the crew’s safety briefing, fly for approximately 40–60 minutes, depending on wind and the pilot’s safety decisions. Views may include the Jbilet hills, villages and, when visibility allows, the Atlas Mountains.

After landing, enjoy a Moroccan breakfast in a traditional tent and receive a flight certificate. Allow approximately 4–5 hours from pickup to return. The flight and breakfast are shared with other passengers; the road transfers for this experience are private to your party. No flight over the medina or particular view is guaranteed.

Stop 1

Predawn pickup

Leave the agreed Marrakech pickup before dawn at the time issued for your booked flight. Your private road transfer takes you to the confirmed balloon operator; the basket may be shared with other passengers. Share participant ages and relevant limitations in advance so the operator can assess suitability under its own conditions.

Stop 2

Crew check-in

Check in and listen to the crew's safety briefing, including boarding, standing and landing positions. The pilot and crew assess wind and weather before deciding whether a flight can proceed. A scheduled pickup is not a guarantee of take-off; the operator's cancellation or rescheduling terms apply if conditions are unsuitable.

Stop 3

Flight decision and launch

Board after the pilot gives clearance and follow the crew's instructions. Float above the countryside near Marrakech for approximately 40–60 minutes, depending on wind and the pilot's safety decisions. The route follows the conditions of the day; no particular landmark, sunrise view or balloon model is guaranteed.

Stop 4

Landing and base arrangements

After landing, follow the crew’s instructions to disembark. Ground vehicles bring passengers to the breakfast area for a Moroccan breakfast in a traditional tent and a flight certificate, before your private return transfer.

Stop 5

Private hotel return

Meet your private driver for the return to the agreed Marrakech city finish. The four-to-five-hour overall window includes road travel, ground operations and the flight process rather than a fixed airborne duration. Avoid placing a tight departure immediately afterwards because weather and retrieval can change the timing.

Important: Children under four cannot join shared flights. Tell MLV about age, health, mobility or pregnancy concerns before booking so flight suitability can be checked. Flight is weather dependent. Basket boarding can require climbing and standing.

Instant confirmation follows verified card payment. Minimum advance notice: 48 hours. Short-notice pricing adds 10% when booking within 7 days, or 20% within 72 hours; only the closest tier applies to the experience and selected extras. The final total is shown before payment. The published MLV cancellation and refund policy applies.

Vehicle options: standard Mercedes Vito for up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases. Parties of 6–16, 17–20 or 21–30 passengers receive the appropriate larger vehicle at an additional USD 200 per service day, charged once per party, plus the listed extra-person prices. This journey has 1 service day. An optional luxury vehicle upgrade for 1–5 guests costs USD 100 per day; exact model is arranged by MLV. Larger-vehicle luggage allocation is agreed with MLV.

Guest pricing: the base private-booking rate includes 2 guests. Additional adults cost $325.00 each and additional children cost $325.00 each for the complete experience. Maximum party: 30 guests. The checkout total includes any applicable vehicle supplement and short-notice surcharge before payment.

How long are we in the air?+

Can we choose the route?+

No. The pilot's decisions and wind conditions determine the flight and landing.

What happens if weather stops the flight?+

If the pilot cancels because conditions are unsafe, MLV will arrange the available rescheduling or refund option under your confirmed booking terms. Do not plan a tight onward connection after this activity.

Is breakfast included?+

Where private transport is included, MLV provides its Mercedes Vito configuration for up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases; parties above 5 use the USD 200/day larger-vehicle option. Groups above 30 guests require a separate arrangement; eligible smaller parties can book online.

What do larger vehicles and luxury upgrades cost?+

The standard Mercedes Vito covers up to 5 passengers and 8 large suitcases. A larger vehicle for up to 16, 20 or 30 passengers adds USD 200 per service day once for the party, in addition to the listed extra-person charges. This journey has 1 service day; the larger-vehicle supplement is USD 200 total. The optional luxury upgrade for up to 5 guests costs USD 100 total (USD 100/day). Model and larger-vehicle luggage allocation are arranged by MLV.

Private tour of Casablanca for up to 16 people

We had an an amazing tour with Hesham. Our cruise had changed our port dates around and Ayoub organized one of his colleagues to help us out!
Hesham communicated very well where we would meet and had our transportation ready to meet us! With a big party of 8 it was perfect. He was conscientious on our time and we never felt rushed. We asked for a traditional Moroccan meal for lunch and it he was able to get us in to a fantastic restaurant. He was knowledgeable and detailed with the history of Casablanca. I would recommend his tour to anyone!

Casablanca Jewish Heritage And Highlights

Ayoub was an outstanding guide, customizing a full day tour of Casablanca with a focus on Jewish sites. He created a fabulous day for our group. Highest recommendation!

7 day Moroccan Tour

Overall, our 7 day Moroccan tour was outstanding to say the least . We were able to see the imperial cities except for Meknes, experience the food , the culture , the beautiful mosques , and taking a walk at their bustling medinas and souks. We also got to experience the exhilarating hot air balloon, and camel ride, had a wonderful dinner and watch belly dancers do their exotic dancing and get to take thousand of beautiful pictures! I would like to thank our tour guide Mr Ayoub for making all these possible. He worked so hard, making arrangements for our bags , carrying our heavy luggage’s coordinating with hotel staff , since we did our own hotel booking and never once complained. He gave us restaurant recommendations and they were beyond excellent too. He allowed my group, freedom to take as much pictures as they want to, shop as long as we want. Thank you Mr Ayoub ! It was an amazing experience and a vacation to remember for the rest of our lives . Please thank our wonderful driver Mr Khalid too.
