Explore Marrakech through colours, patterns and short stories on a private family walk lasting 2½–3 hours. Meet near Jemaa el-Fna, then follow a compact souk loop where children can spot weaving, lamps and decorative details without any obligation to shop.

Pause for shade or a rest, with an optional snack add-on, before continuing to Koutoubia’s public garden paths when heat and energy levels allow. Finish near Jemaa el-Fna, taking a shorter return route if needed. Mosque interiors, palace admissions, workshops, animal encounters and performers are excluded.

The private base price covers up to 4 guests. Each additional adult costs USD 40 and each additional child USD 25; the maximum is 12. No compulsory shopping or minimum purchase is required. Family welcome at the square

Meet at a clear landmark and agree an age-appropriate pace. Explain safe ways to stay together in busy lanes and use simple questions to introduce the city. Independent performers are not included and animals are not part of the programme.

Stop 2

Souk colours and pattern hunt

Follow a short connected souk loop with stops for observing weaving, lamps and decorative patterns. The guide turns details into a discovery game. Buying is optional; workshops or guaranteed performances are not part of the booked service.

Stop 3

Shade and snack pause

Pause at a practical cafe or quiet point according to the day’s conditions. The optional snack add-on covers a small pastry or fruit and a drink per guest. Tell MLV about allergies; substitute products depend on the venue.

Stop 4

Koutoubia garden paths and finish

Continue to public paths around the Koutoubia when the children’s energy and heat allow. Otherwise take a shorter return route. Discuss the skyline from outside and finish near Jemaa el-Fna. Mosque interiors and palace admissions are excluded.

Yes, discuss the stroller size and mobility needs in advance. Uneven lanes and steps can limit access. The guide can reduce walking within the booked duration; carrying a stroller or providing an accessible vehicle is not included.

Are snacks, animal encounters or craft workshops included?+

No animal encounter, performer payment or hands-on workshop is included. The optional snack break adds a small pastry or fruit plus one soft drink per guest, subject to dietary suitability. Shopping is entirely optional.

How do payment and short-notice prices work?+

Card and PayPal confirmation follow verified payment. Bank transfer remains pending until received funds are verified; cash is offered only when checkout permits it. Book at least 48 hours ahead. Within 7 days the supplement is 10%; within 72 hours it is 20%, with only one tier applied. The applicable cancellation policy is shown before payment.
